This is the clock that my grandmother gave my father who gave it to me when he passed and that I recently bragged had not stopped running since I inherited it. Murhpy's Law being what it is, the clock stopped. Now it tells the correct time only twice a day instead of all day long.
you know, i've always told everyone, when they see murphy, detain him and present him to me as i would like to kick him in the arse. 🤣 he's always screwing people around. aces on the shot, girlfriend.
Timely half and half! I'm tempted to say, "Pride goes before the fall" (hehe) but since I've had a thing or two like that happen to me... I think it's better to say, if you have a good clock maker nearby it wouldn't hurt to have them come and take a look at it.

Great half and half and beautiful old clock! I also have a non-working clock. My father built it and kept it in working order for me while he was still alive.
