In our country Thanksgiving is celebrated about three weeks after Halloween and usually about four weeks before Christmas. Lots of people tend to overlook it and move straight to Christmas. My daughter let me know yesterday that she was not going to do that and needed a Thanksgiving painting for her frame. I had been thinking about it but had no idea what to do. This is what I came up with today and she loved her surprise
That is so sweet- it's perfect. Two neighbors have put those silly blow up Christmas decorations up already and they even had Christmas wreaths for sale at the supermarket today. yikes!
A great Thanksgiving painting! It was my grandmother's favorite holiday because all her children and their families came to her house, but on Christmas they were scattered.
having had our thanksgiving last month, most people have now switched their attention to black friday shopping (the US one) and equally Christmas. some tenants in my apartment building have already put up their Christmas lights. i may be forced to put up a bit of decorations as young onyx would like to come here for Christmas dinner. i say, can we finish november first?
your painting is great, your turkey is gorgeous! aces!
