Sunshine Coast Council & Stockland unveiled a landmark six-metre high public art sculpture within the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct at Oceanside that is capturing the imagination of children & adults alike.
The playful artwork featuring a cartwheeling child, titled IDIDIT!, symbolizes the joy of childhood, learning & the importance of play in human development.
Love that. Reminds me of our goddaughter. She was 2 1/2 when she tried repeatedly to walk around the rim of her sandbox. Finally, she made it all the way around and that is exactly what she said…”Ididit”. We thought then that she would probably go far. She is now a costume designer for Disney in Florida….which is what she wanted to be.
