This was yesterday. After the assembly of some of the least challenging items in our flat packs, and the examination and laying out of parts in readiness for today, we went for an evening walk before taking our son for a couple of rounds in the local hostelry in order to keep at bay the fear of the task before us!
The mute swans were looking particularly graceful and a calming influence.
Thank you so much for your comments and interest in my accounts of my daily trials and tribulations. You are so accommodating. I did say "see you on the other side" yesterday, although it has to be said that after 5 hours of wardrobe assembly, we are still not on the other side. Drawers have yet to be assembled and doors affixed. IKEA assembly has nothing on this local firm. After firmly fixing 68 tacks on the panels on the back of the wardrobe, and upturning the burdensome piece, we promptly realised that aforementioned panels were back to front. They were more difficult to get out than they had been to put in! Enough said.
Fabulous viewed on black! Lovely reflection. So sorry your wardrobe assembly has become such a frustrating task. Hopefully the drawers won't cause you any trouble. :-)

Will be happy if the doors hang straight! @moonmtn yes - always good to get out and get things back in perspective @haskar thank you @jorlam thank you yes. @dianen thank you. @okc553 much appreciated. @stimuloog I plan to
