Our decorations are still up and 12th night occurs tomorrow after which, by tradition, Christmas has formally ended. An opportunity this evening, since we had people round, to light the candles and turn on the fairy lights for one last time before packing everything away.
Unable to produce anything even remotely connected to the theme of Vision, looking ahead, I'm stuck with this layered approach to presenting something actually photographed today.
It isn't much, but at least I got over my resistance to using the camera at all when there is no natural light left in the day.
I'm just about finished packing my Christmas away. I'm always a bit sad during the packing away process. I like your layered abstract image, particularly the red section...really catches my eye.
Nice abstract! I was reading about how some leave the decorations up until twelfth night. Then there are others that leave them up until Candlemas on Feb. 2nd...or for those that procrastinate! :)
