Therapy in a field of crocci

Some say flowers should be in colour, and for you … visit my alternative album today for the full colour unedited version of this image.

But for flashofred2019, I have converted to black and white. I'm now using channel mixer to convert to b&w and find it interesting to see the different versions created by different filters. For greater contrast I pick the colour that is dominant in the image - in this case the blue filter, and then use the slide adjustment to tweak to my liking.


Colour or black and white - either way, sitting against a tree in a field of crocci with camera in hand on a warm February morning is the best therapy I know of.
