Duck out of Water by helenhall

Duck out of Water

Forgive me, I have hit a very busy week again and haven't viewed images for several days. Hopefully there will be a chance tomorrow evening.

In the meanwhile, I am continuing with my walk around the burst banks of the river at the weekend and have a number of images to choose from to post.

Atleast this Muscovy duck was able to enjoy the seat and look out over the river as it was unlikely that any human was going to reach it the day I took this. All is nearly back to normal again now.

See how I am struggling with my thankfulness posts too! Well today, I have been thankful that despite a day at work, and an evening at Camera club, I have been able to design a poster for a public meeting I am involved with organising in a couple of weeks time.
He's just keeping his feet dry !
The water must be nearly freezing at this time of year !

It looks like a ducky swimming pool and he's about to dive in. Good catch. I posted this on my picture but then thought it'd be better seen here. The WWYD challenge-

Another great reflection! You really have a great eye for reflections, that's for sure. This picture makes me smile with that duck perched up there all alone surveying its surroundings. I wonder what it is thinking!
