45, drained

Yes I have drained these flowers of all but a hint of their colour. They were far too lurid against the bright green grass to represent the day.

I awoke to bright skies for the first time since Sunday and was tempted to take one of my early morning walks. Am thankful that I did, as the dreary and constant rain soon returned to seal us all back into our houses.

After an intensive couple of days at the computer trying to achieve on a small laptop screen what I would usually undertake with two large screens and many sheets of paper, I am feeling pretty drained. So please excuse me, and I will catch up with you all again soon.
Hang in there... the colour will return

You are doing a wonderful job with all these changes. I ponder how you even keep posting and writing philosophical comments. Just a thought- your photos and comments are a window into your experience, and would be good to keep as a hard copy diary.

Desaturation fits so well these days. And you've created a lovely image as a result.

Take care of yourself, Helen! Draining one’s energy is not the best practice... lovely photo, though

Perfect technique to depict your drained state of mind. Do take care, Helen!
