60, Iris

My creative brain is failing me - both in finding titles for my images and in the narrative. I am lacking ideas for processing too - but that may just be a time restriction that I have.

So this is day 60 since I first went into our version of lockdown and my second round of complete isolation. This second time round feels much more difficult than the first - none of the novelty factor and all of the inconvenience.

Whether you are able to leave the house, travel to the coast, exercise all day, or none of the above, I truly hope that each of your will have a lovely weekend.
I so feel with you Helen Jane we are in the strictest lockdown in the world since mid March! It is supposed to ease at the end of the month, but not for those over 60! We are only allowed to leave our homes for food shopping, medication and doctor visits. We are allowed to exercise daily from 6-9am within a 5km radius. I just wish it would be next year already ;-)

Well, I know you were thinking this might need processing but I really don't think it does. I like the way the way the yellow peeks through the green- it's lush! I think it's a good shot. Hang in there!

This is so well composed, with the bud in front and the flower that it will become behind.

I think it is beautiful as is. I am sorry you are exiled again and hope you can find something positive in the enforced rest.

ah helen i do hope that your cough is starting to subside. it certainly feels as though the novelty factor is wearing off for many of us - not surprisingly, i guess. i hope your second lockdown will gather pace and begin to pass more quickly soon
