Rather disillusioned with my failure once again to find anything to post for today, I decided that enough was enough and I must go out in the garden, despite the rapidly fading light and find a subject for the day.
My husband and I are no gardeners, and this year what we have planted has been generally disappointing despite our best efforts. These bedding plants have been quite pretty thought but they were already closing for the day.
After an unexpected burst of rain, the lawn (well, rather the dried out shriveled grass) was too wet to kneel and the light insufficient for a fast shutter speed. So no sharp focus here! I guess at 1/20s that isn't surprising.
But still, I am happy to be posting something from today.
It looks quite dreamy as it fold up for the end of the day.
It takes a while to get back into the swing of things posting every day doesn't it. I don't take a photo every day and sometimes I have a batch of photos to run as a mini theme.
The lighting is beautiful in this scene. We have these growing in a pot on our deck and I really like them. No idea what they are. I can relate to your gardening woes...gardening is hard and to me, not much fun!
