No photos yesterday so I nipped out for half an hour this morning to get something for the slot.
I wanted to practice tracking - which I have never been successful with. The challenge still remains.
The butterflies, bees and dragonflies were teasing me intensely and I found it impossible, as they never stopped moving to get any focus on them at all. Until, that is, this bee stopped on the remains of the flower head and I focused carefully on it and snapped as soon as it moved off.
The tracking failed to move and the flower remained perfectly in focus.
Perhaps the object in focus needs to be the biggest object in the frame for this to work?
I posted anyway, because I like the colours, bokeh and composition.
It is a beautiful image and a funny title. Oh those bees are tiny and fast. Believe me Helen, I have many blurry shots too. The one trick that works for me is don't wait till you see them moving. Especially bees, they never stay too long on one flower, so start shooting away and keep at it. If not today, next time ! that is what I kept telling meself. Good luck!
