I was hurrying down a side-street in Cambridge on a very mundane errand to pick up a prescription at the chemist when I noticed this wonderful window in The Leverhulme Centre for Human Evolution - which is part of Cambridge University, and at least partly dedicated to zoology research. I am standing across the street from the window, with the big white door behind me; we are reflected in the glass, on which are etched phrases from Darwin's writings. I'm amazed this came out at all, as I realised afterwards I still had my camera set on macro after some earlier shots I'd been taking at home!
I adore this wonderful picture; I love all the text! What a thrill it must have been to come across this perfect set-up for your camera! It's really excellent!
This is a really cool idea. Well done for finishing the ABC too. I dunno if your camera does this, but the macro setting on my camera seems to turn itself off automatically when I zoom in too much or if I'm quite far from where I'm focussing. That might explain why it worked. Or it might be just good luck. Either way, nice picture. :-)
oops, forgot to fav this yesterday, came back to do that. btw, saw you comment on my Z photo, yes it's a little funny that It crossed my mind again about what letter it is for today when i'm posting my photo! funny how human brain works, isn't it? it's been a joy ride! :) i had lots of fun!
