Jaws for Worms

This worm is in big trouble! It was the most perfect beautiful Spring morning. After gettting the boys off to school I took the dogs for their walk. I intended to go up to the view point and try taking some panoramic shots with "my" new borrowed camera, but on the way, Storm and Maia had one of their little sibling-rivalry-spats and Maia came away limping, so we turned back and went to feed the hens. No one was looking so I lay down on my tummy at worm's eye level and took some worm's eye shots. As those beaks pecked around me, I couldn't help hearing that Jaws soundtrack music and imagine how a worm might feel - it'd be a like a great big shark closing in!
Is there any one of us who hasn't been lying flat on the ground? worth it for that magnificent shot. Love the colours and the proximity!

PS - the tag needs to be
theme-wormseye
or it won't appear on the theme page. (Hope that doesn't sound too bossy!)

Yes, be sure to tag this the way Elizabeth said..it's too **good** to miss out!

I was on the ground in the park with my nose in the grass today...this week is a whole new experience for most of us!

I haven't been on the ground, but that's okay because I'm *sure* worms hibernate when it's snowing!!!
great colors in this shot!

What a great shot! I keep trying to get shots of our chickens, but they are in perpetual motion! Terrifying worm's eye shot!

I used to have bantams, cute little fancy breeds, until a fox got the lot of them on Easter sunday. I told the kids it was the Easter Bunny in a fit of jealousy!
