It started raining at lunchtime and hasn't stopped since. By 6pm the dogs were looking at me with those eyes that say, yeah, we know it's tipping down but we'll be calling the RSPCA if we don't get a walk soon! So I dragged out the waterproofs and the wellington boots and off we went. Near Eversden, bean crops are standing in the field, blighted and blackened. Everything is dripping and soggy and soft-focus. It wasn't a very long walk, Blech!
Reading your caption, I can easily see why your a published author! That was just a delight! And how funny, as I look at your picture, I have the perfect background accompanyment as our own rain has just begun. What a lovely night for sleeping...
I was just looking at your comment on the wellies, as you say its wellly weather. we will have to get some bigger ones in for Edd !Like your dripping picture
Great shot capturing the mood of a relentless rainy day in the UK. Its been chucking it down all day in London and its sooooo miserable - hate it! The lovely bit about this pic tho is the rain drops on the sodden branch.
