Chilly Collie

The most beautiful sunny frosty morning for our walk this morning. This is Pip looking beautiful and eager in a cloud of steamy breath. Pip is Storm and Maia's sister. She belongs to my friend Karen who lives round the corner. We got the three puppies at the same time four years ago. Twice a week Pip comes for her morning walk with us, and twice a week Karen takes my two for me. It makes busy mornings easier!
What a practical arangement. I bet her tongue is feeling the cold!

That's why they talk about a dog's tongue lolling!! An amazing and beautiful photo of a magnificent dog. Don't you love the way they'll sit or lie down in all that frost without a moment's hesitation? Our dog used to do that when we lived on the Tablelands here.

Looks to be tired from the morning walk! What a good idea to help each other out with the dogs plus I bet they enjoy seeing each other...I wonder if dos know they are related to each other...I mean, is there some special smell that tells them that or do they remember growing up together...??? I think they must know. Wish they could talk to us about things like this!

great shot! It looks as if, despite the hanging tongue and clouds of steamy breath, she could be off again in a flash!

I adore your dogs and your dog portraits! I think you should make a book of your dogs, with your commentary! I would buy it!
