I was lucky enough to be invited to a fabulously swish authors' party* at the Royal Opera House. On the left, the beautifully lit windows shining through the rainy night, snapped on my iphone as I hurried in. On the right, an attempt at the same shot taken a few hours later on my way out. I blame the fact I was in a hurry to catch my train home (I missed it!) and am sure that the blurry effect was nothing whatsoever to do with the several glasses of champagne I'd quaffed in the interim. It was a lovely evening.
* by which I mean a fabulously swish party for authors, not a party for fabulously swish authors!
