On the skibus back to the hotel from the glacier we were held up in a traffic jam while the cows were herded through the centre of a small town. Will took this picture through the window. The collie dog in the foreground was working with the farmer to herd the cattle along (not just running around randomly in wild excitement like certain other collies we know). Down in the valley the pasture was vibrant green and full of wildflowers, in contrast to the snow higher up on the peaks. The Austrian Alps are incredibly beautiful.
hmmm...you know how people are supposed to clean up after their dogs...? Your collies may be herding more than you realize. I love those border collies!
