I'm not hugely into Royalty but I did turn the telly on this morning to check out the frocks. Thumbs up to Kate, Pippa, Mrs M, and Camilla. Thumbs down to Eugenie and Beatrice (why didn't anyone tell them?), Sam Cam (bright turquoise, no thanks!) and Victoria Beckham (just plain scary!) Will played cricket. Ed went to a picnic party with friends in Grantchester meadows, so no street parties for us! This evening I took the dogs for a long walk near Tadlow. Although a tiny village, they must have been having a street party down the road. People were leaving, and this man was taking down the flags.
I am not a huge fan of the Royals but curiosity got the better of me and I was hooked on SKY news all morning! Such a pretty service, I was really disappointed in her Bouquet, I was expecting something much grander.
I'm still hoping to see the best parts this evening. A 1:00 am wake up was not in my cards this morning so I caught a little on the morning news but haven't seen much more than the vows yet.
Hahaaa - I thought the 'commoners' did us proud but everytime they panned to the Queen there was a pair or horrors sitting behind her - Vivienne Westwood did I hear - I usually love her stuff but perhaps she has decided to go anti-establishment again!
I had to run next door to catch it on their telly. Agree with all you say. Thought Eugenie and Beatrice were like the U... step sisters. Can't even say it, it sounds too cruel ...but they just so did.
Yep, agree with above, the wedding dress was just right, really beautiful and delicate! But as for the majority of the guests, what was going on?? That thing on Beatrice's head, Tara PT's mad blue creation, brand Beckham like a funeral and his OBE on the wrong lapel, just so many fashion attacks......why,how???
@janeterry maybe it's reassuring to know that even with all that money (and presumably a few make-up artists/stylists/personal hairdressers as well) it's still possible to get it so wrong!
