Pea-Souper Over The Cabbages

I haven't stopped taking photos (although the unfortunate incident involving my trusty panasonic lumix and the egg did slow me down for a while - let's just say they are two things that should never be carried home from the fields in the same coat pocket) but I got so busy I had to stop spending time on 365 for a while, but I have a few quieter weeks now so will try to catch up a little - I really miss picking out a daily photos and browsing all the great pictures on here . . .

If you're thinking you can't see anything in this picture, that's because I couldn't see much either! A dense fog was blanketing everything when I too Ed to his football match in Papworth this morning. I took the dogs for a walk across the fields before the match started, and could barely make out this couple walking their dog on the brow of this cabbage field. The joys of a January morning! I then spent several hours shivering on the touch-line, watching two football games back to back, then walking the dogs again, before I could light the fire and get a chicken in the oven to roast - winter does have its recompenses!
I've just watched Birdsong - this could be a scene! Does this mean we can get a walk in - I think Jenna's on for one this week too?

This picture looks like an oil painting , hope Ed & the dogs appreciate you turning out in the cold, but then that's what Mums are for.
