I was in London for a meeting and had the afternoon free. I've been longing to go to the V&A museum and see the new exhibition of spider silk even since I heard about it on the radio a few weeks ago. This is a detail of the fabulous embroidered cape made from the silk of over a million Madagascan golden orb spiders. The vivid yellow is the natural colour straight from the spider.
