Last Saturday was my debut as a film director. I rounded up some tame children and got them to act out scenes for a trailer for the new Adventure Island books. The kids did a great job and we had a lot of fun. Then I sat down to edit all the bits together and add sounds and transitions and effects...it was all going so well yesterday until we had a power cut and iMovie crashed and now won't open again. I'll have to get that sorted soon or my chances of winning BEST FILM at the Oscars next year are going to be totally shattered!
Congratulations for both a darling photo and for all the attention your books are getting! When you come to Southern California for the Oscars, I'd like to host a party for you!
