I stayed in Oxford for the night before the Bookfeast event as my first talk was first thing in the morning. I sat in a cafe on the High Street to do some work, and watched students coming out of the exam school just up the road - May is final exam time - just seeing them made me feel nervous - I remember being in their shoes, walking along this very road many years ago, probably looking into this cafe at a middle aged lady and wishing that I had the time to sit around drinking coffee without exams to worry about! I wouldn't swap places!
