Cau not Cow

Not an alien life form descending from the sky, but a decorative silver hanging item against sky-painted walls in the new Argentinian steak restaurant, Cau, in Cambridge. We went along as a belated celebration of Ed's birthday. My three guys all being dedicated carnivores, the steaks went down very well.
We almost had an empty seat at the table though. Will was in town with friends for the afternoon, so I told him to meet us outside Cau, and explained where it was. As the rest of our band hurried through the cold from the car park we spotted a lone figure standing outside The Cow pub - which is only a few doors away. It hadn't occurred to me that that there could be any confusion, but Cau/Cow do sound the same I suppose!

Ooh will have to try it. My Argentinian friend was grumpy about it (partly I think because her teenagers were in Argentina when they were recruiting their 'Argentinian' staff) because her daughter asked for various veggie dishes and they said, 'There are lots of very authentic Argentinian restaurants you can try - we are trying to appeal to more people.' (Obviously we are falling over them). She did say that the food was great though!
