At last, the sun came out and the temperature inched above Siberian levels for almost the first time this year. I took the dogs for a walk along the river near Shepreth this afternoon and we all enjoyed blue skies and sunlight sparkling on the flood pools. Uncharacteristically Storm wasn't hurling himself into the water to fetch sticks today, but spent some time contemplating his reflection instead - perhaps his mad puppy days are finally over . . .
