Boys in Blue

Giddy with the rare treat of two sunny days in a row I insisted on a compulsory family walk this morning. We set off to the wooded path along the river (or stream really) near Shepreth. We stopped at the turnaround point to throw sticks into the water for the dogs (out of view here - they are in pursuit of sticks) and to wait for Mac who has been dawdling while searching his phone for geocaches to find on our way back. By some form of subliminal family consensus, we all went out dressed in matching top-to-toe blue (yes, me too!). This wouldn't have been an issue, as the dogs aren't too worried about their owners' fashion faux-pas, but I did wonder what the other diners at the Royal Oak, where we stopped for lunch, thought of our matching ensembles. Officially the first day of the year that it was warm enough to eat lunch outside. Too hot, in fact, according to Will, although he'd probably be in a t-shirt at the North Pole)
