It's become a tradition somehow that we head off for a city weekend sometime before the end of the Christmas holidays. Now the boys are teenagers we can really feel that the time that we will have them as a captive audience at home and that they will want to come on holiday with us, is getting shorter and more precious by the minute, so we leap at the chance of a whole weekend of their undivided screen-free, friend-free, football-free, work-free attention? This year our city of choice was the beautiful, super-cool Barcelona. With the added benefit of blue skies while we wandered around Gaudi's wierd and wonderful Parc Guell.
