Oh no, not those cute chicks again! Here they are keeping warm under little white bantam. They've been up and about for days, hurtling up and down the ramp, scratting about in the straw, just like mum, but today there was a chill in the breeze so they decided to lie low under those cosy tail feathers for a while. In other news our five new goslings are settling in well. They're not so popular with the paparazzi just now as they are at that 'awkward stage' of looking half-plucked - clumps of baby down and feathers sticking out at all angles - they look as if auditioning for the before phase of The Ugly Duckling.
