Jeremy Fisher's Garden

Up early to find the dogs still fast asleep in the car. A sparkling sunny morning, so a long walk, a great lunch at a village pub and then a visit to beautiful Tudor Melford Hall. This view is from the gatehouse where there is a small Beatrix Potter exhibition. Beatrix Potter was a regular visitor to Melford, the home of a cousin, and many scenes in her books are inspired by the house and gardens. I'm glad to have caught the two boys having their photo taken on the right as you look down the steps.
