We walked in the rainforest-like mountains near La Lagua - dripping, muddy and spectacular. On the way home we stopped off a tiny town clinging to the cliffs, looking for a restaurant (which had closed) - but it was worth it for the views from the steep cliffside, along the coast. Mount Teide rises out of the cloud in the distance, as if floating in mid-air.
