We had thunder and lightning (not common here in Bergen) and really heavy rainfall (very common here in Bergen :-) in the afternoon yesterday. It started a few hours after I took the shot of the boathouse and only lasted for about an hour and a half. It caused some flooding locally and I think it surprised the met office as much as it surprised us. It was not forecast at all.
Good rain shot. We (my husband and I) used to have a laugh at Bergens expense as it was the only placed we went to where even the statues wore wet weather gear.
@jeneurell Yes, it is wet, but you get used to it :-). Yesterday was something else though, I just read in the paper that for an hour yesterday we got the most rain ever recorded in Bergen since they started doing hourly measurements.
