Church in the Valley

We drove around the coal region of Pennsylvania where Harry Shuey grew up. He remembered that kindergarten in the late 40's was held in the basement of this church in Upper Buck Run. There was no indication that the church was still being used or even what domination it was. Best viewed large

Lovely scene. I find the bell tower very interesting. Sort of has the southwest mission look to it.

Love how the church is framed by the trees and the contrast of the lovely blue sky against the cold snow!
