Went out for Chinese around 6:00 pm with some friends and then we all came back to our house. I had just sat down when I jumped up. When queried about this. I said I had just seen an owl swoop down in the front yard. Our friends told me to grab my camera and get out there. I looked up, but the owl was nowhere to be seen. This is the first owl I have ever seen in our yard.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
Sorry for the miss. A word of consolation is that you saw one flying over your yard. I have never and will never see one flying over mine. Beautiful capture of the trees.
