Football? by homeschoolmom

Football?

This soccer ball was laying beside the football field the other day. Ironic since most of the world calls it "football" instead of soccer. Since I don't play soccer, I decided to use it as a test subject for some editing magic!
Interesting effect...

Cool editing and really works well with the patterning on the ball.

Cool processing. I like it. It's fun to play with editing pictures sometimes.

@mittens Thanks! I had fun with it. Somethings I did, I liked, and others I didn't, so it was a good learning process.

We have been a soccer family for a LONG time! One of my sons is a professional soccer coach for a college team at present. So of course I like this shot- a soccer ball with bling- fun!

@olivetreeann Thanks! My daughter played outdoor soccer one year and hated it. She didn't like running around outside. She liked indoor soccer and played that two years. But, most of the time soccer and football are played in the fall here, so we've pretty much been a football family. The important thing is that the kids are out there doing something. My youngest wants to grow up and play pro football, or be a veterinarian. I told him it was good to have a backup plan.

@homeschoolmom Had to smile over your comments. We too love football- or I should say my guys love football. I used to tell everyone we loved futball and football. Funny you should talk about a "back-up" plan. Our dentist was in the NFL (in the late 70's) and went to dental school off season so that when he left the pro ball scene he'd have something else to do!

@olivetreeann At age 10, he realized that guys don't stay in the NFL that long. My hubby's trying to convince him to become a chiropractor, but dentist would be good, too! I'll have to tell him that.

@homeschoolmom I'm not sure if it will show up on the internet or in NFL history- but his name is Edward Baker and he played for the NY Giants (and another team but I'm not sure which one). I should ask my husband what years he played- but he's sound asleep in the other room and snoring away!
