I've been trying for about a month to take a picture of a leaf floating down to the ground with no luck. Yesterday, as I was making another attempt, a giant leaf even hit me in the back of the head, taunting me, but still not good leaf picture. This morning at my son's football game, between plays my eye catches something above me...a seagull perhaps? No, this leaf was floating high on the wind current directly above me, hardly even moving. No beautiful fall background, just gray clouds, but at least the sunlight was hitting the floating leaf....and it's in focus. FINALLY!

@tremerryn That was the problem I had yesterday...the wind was just blowing too hard and I ended up with yellow streaks across my picture. Good luck. Hope you get your dream shot! LOL!
@sarasdadandmom LOL! They already think I'm crazy. I'm always trying to take pictures of the seagulls flying around during the games (first time living close to the ocean) and I was wearing a big fur coat to a kid's football game because it was freezing cold. They just look at me and say, "You aren't from here, are you?"
