Aunt Sue! by homeschoolmom

Aunt Sue!

Yesterday I went to my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary surprise party. I hadn't seen any of them in at least 25 years. I took this picture of my aunt (who looks just like my mom) sitting at a table after opening presents. I edited out all of the background to turn it into a portrait since it was a good shot of her.
Great portrait - and I absolutely love the ribbon in her hair!

how cool, still a pretty lady, you had not seen them in 25 years, do they live far away?

@linnypinny The ribbon was my favorite, too. In fact, it fell off, so I put it back on her before I snapped the picture! LOL!
@sarasdadandmom Yes, they lived in MA since I was a little kid, more than 12 hours from where I grew up. I recently moved within an hour of them, so I get to catch up with everyone in the year we are up here.
@mittens @lafish @twr @tremerryn Thanks everyone!

@taffy Thanks! Her kids have seen it, but she doesn't have a computer. I'm going to have it printed and send it to her.

@kathyladley It's actually easier than you might think. I was using a Corel program trial version. I've asked for the full version for Christmas. Fun to play with.
@pdulis Thanks!

Lisa, I just looked for the Corel program online. Which program did you trial?

I used Photoshop Pro 6.0. It's a little advanced at first, but I figured some of it out.
