Quintessential New Hampshire! by homeschoolmom

Quintessential New Hampshire!

Nothing says New Hampshire more than covered bridges and mountains of granite. Only thing missing is a jug of maple syrup. LOL! But the views here at Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park are amazing, even if it didn't look like spring had arrived yet.
Beautiful image!

@lynnilou Thanks!
@pinkpaintpot The weather in the northeast is so harsh in the winter it caused the bridge to deteriorate too quickly. The cover helped protect the bridge from the weather.

You have to explore Vermont next if you want great maple syrup. The Cabot dairy is wonderful to visit.

@swilde Thanks!
@joansmor I wanted to go to the Cabot Dairy, but it lost out in the family vote of what to do. Ft. Ticonderoga and Saratoga beat it out. Apparently, the boys think battlefields are better than cheese! I liked the battlefields, but I love Cabot Cheese!
@juliedduncan @digitalrn Thanks!

@ceilidh Thanks!
@joansmor Ben & Jerry's is rather anti-military, so that would not have been on my husband's radar! LOL!
@lafish Thanks!
