Oh, my! Another very hot day at the football field. I took my umbrella for shade. However, the late afternoon sun was in front of me, so my umbrella didn't help much. During breaks in play, I lowered my umbrella to block the sun, then raised it back up to watch the game. Unfortunately, we lost 25-6.
Did those around you like it when you opened the umbrella? You must have somehow blocked their view. Love this colourful shot, though, and the umbrella is so pretty.
@pdulis Thanks so much for the FAV! @anazad511@paulam@swilde@ceilidh@linnypinny@pixiemac@skippysue Thanks! @digitalrn Thank goodness, because it was roasting hot! LOL! @sangwann Thanks! We were in a big high school football stadium up in the bleachers. Since we are a small team, we were able to spread out. Everyone had umbrellas. Some even had the big four-legged canopies.
hi, lisa, thank you for the challenge. and thank heavens you have a list of your get-pushed challenges. for you, i give you two choices. (1) a cupful of bokeh; or (2) high key portrait (not necessarily self portrait). hope you enjoy.
Oh so sorry to hear the game was lost and the umbrella only "worked" part of the time. It is so hard to play in that hot sunny weather but hopefully the team will learn from the loss and they'll improve as the weather cools off. I do like the red, white and blue theme of the umbrella though- very colorful and patriotic!
