It must be the full moon making me crazy, but I set my alarm for 5 a.m. to go outside to get pictures of the eclipse and blood moon. I was up for 2 hours, but it was worth it. I got some pretty good shots in spite of my tri-pod not wanting to cooperate with me. I put some of the better ones together in this collage.
@bristolrose I almost missed it. Because everything I saw about it just said Oct. 8 and I assumed it was tonight. But, it was this morning right before dawn.
wow! i'm so glad you were able to take these shots. we had cloud and rain around here in Toronto so there was no chance to have done it. plus i was probably still snoring around that time. excellent collage, lisa.
@olivetreeann Oh, no. I set my alarm and was done by the time my husband left for work. But, then I forgot to reset my alarm clock and didn't wake up until 11. LOL! @silverhorn Thanks. I would have rather been up late, instead of getting up early. I'm not an morning person. @summerfield Thanks. we had the same thing happen for the supermoon. Rain for three days. @ithinkithunk Thanks!
I did the same thing! :o) Isn't it funny how we will willingly wake up at that hour for something like a photograph but if it was just for work we'd be grumbling? Hee hee! Very nice collage.
@hoosierhokie I am not a morning person. I went back to bed, accidentally turned my alarm off and slept until 11:30. School got a late start, but the boys didn't mind at all! LOL! @digitalrn Thanks! @appsie Gorgeous morning, not a cloud in the sky. It was nearly 70 degrees F. Perfect morning for taking pictures. @paulam My camera is just a Nikon point and shoot, but it has a 42x zoom. I have to have a good zoom because I spend a lot of time sitting in stands taking sports pictures.
