Our county was formed in 1907 and named after Civil War General Robert E. Lee. But, in front of the courthouse under a giant old magnolia tree is a single grave from the Revolutionary War. There was one Revolutionary War battle fought in our county between a local militia and Tories (those still loyal to England), which took place at a farm several miles outside of town. I can only assume that PVT Jacob Gastors was a veteran of that battle.
This really has a great historical feel to it- even if you hadn't given us the info, your composition and perspective feature the connection quite nicely.
Hi, I'm your get-pushed partner this week. After looking over your list and photos again, I've decided on a concept challenge, although I'm not sure how to challenge you, but maybe it'll be fun at least...
Someone not long ago challenged me with photographing three words, all starting with the letter C....
So for you I'd like to see "Curves" "Clutter" and "Companion" in the same photo.
@olivetreeann Thank you so much, Ann!
