Actually got my new ornament hung on the tree. Absolutely love it. It represents 3 long years of our life, of 3 moves in three summers. A great addition to our tree that is decorated from ornaments we have collected in our travels, representing where we live and our interests. So we have everything from deer antlers to flutes to soldiers to footballs hanging on our tree along side crystal ornaments from Germany and paper ornaments the kids made when they were little.
Your tree sounds just like a Christmas tree is supposed to use look. I much prefer a tree that tells a story to a perfectly planned and decorated tree.

@olivetreeann @stownsend @mittens Our tree is much like our house. My husband has always said that he doesn't want "artwork" hanging on the walls. We have lots of travel photos and artwork of places we have visited, along side photos of the kids.
