This is a common view along local roads. Sometimes, there is literally a wall of ivy 20 feet high or more. It creates a jungle effect that's rather impenetrable. It also hides a lot of old buildings. It's fun to watch old barns and sheds emerge from the forest in January when the jungle finally dies off and thins out.
