One happy Hunter! by homeschoolmom

One happy Hunter!

I'm not sure which day his smile was bigger, the day he got the grouse (Oct. 14, 2013, when he was 11, bottom right), or today when he picked up the mounted feathers from the taxidermist. It's so awesome that the taxidermist mounted his NH roughed grouse on old wood from a local NC tobacco barn. He blended the two states together. I'm just glad they didn't get destroyed during the move from NH to NC. They've been in our freezer for a long time. He said, "I'm only 14 and I already have a decoration for the house I don't own yet!" He's so funny!
Came out great!

I like the collage that tells the story and how pretty the mounted feathers are.

Congrats to Hunter on his hunting abilities and it is so nice to have the feathers mounted as a momento of the occasion.
So sorry for the delay in issuing this challenge. Have you ever wished you could go back and do a challenge or a photo over because you know you could do it better? Your challenge this week is to choose one challenge or photo and redo it - this is your chance to make it better!
However, you must state what you did not like about the original in your commentary, and what you did to correct it.

Wow, that's a wonderful display of his hunt so long ago. I know he's proud!

@danette They don't do them as often, and it's usually just bigger game birds, like turkeys.
