So excited to find an owl hanging out in the park last evening. It looked young to me. I looked it up and it's a barred owl and it's still an owlet. It was pretty big, but not quite full grown. It certainly wasn't afraid of people, as I was pretty close to it taking photos. It was only about 5 feet from me at one point.
