His paperwork still has to the Boy Scouts of America national office to be completely official, but he passed his Eagle board with flying colors tonight. One of the board members said it was one of the best presentations that he's sit in on. That's pretty high praise for a kid with Attention Deficit Disorder and a speech impediment who is high functioning on the Autism Spectrum. Our troop is famous for their practice Eagle Board of Reviews. He did three with the troop and we practiced at home. He had 5 pages of photos that he used as reminders of stuff he needed to tell them about his project. The whole thing took just a little over an hour after the board members spent a half hour looking over his packet of information.
The top pic is Spencer and his Scout Master being called in for the Board of Review. The bottom left is Spencer shaking hands with his Scout Master Brad Marin, and the bottom right is him with the board he presented his project to.
