It’s been a crazy day. My MIL Faith passed away this afternoon, after about 4 years of bad health. She was 78. So we drove into WV. Saturday we have to go back to pick up my daughter who is flying in from France and head back for the funeral on Tuesday. It’s very strange being here st my in-laws’ house and my MIL not being here. She’s everywhere in the house. Her favorite spot on the couch, the snowman curtains in the kitchen that she was so excited about, her shoes under the kitchen chair, ...... my FIL is rather list without her being here. They’ve been married 60 years in June.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. 60 years is truly amazing and it must be especially difficult for you FIL because of that. I hope the Easter celebration will offset some of the sorrow and be a reminder that one day, thanks to Christ, we will all be reunited with those we love. I know that is often said, but it's such an anchor in times of sorrow.
