Last night our Army friends from way back called to say they were passing through the area Sunday afternoon. So as soon as church let out, we drove nearly 2 hours to Winsto-Salem to meet them for lunch. We got to spend a few hours with them catching up and meeting a few of their grandbabies. It's hard to imagine that these two guys met at an ROTC mini camp in West Virginia back in 1987, were stationed together and went to the First Gulf War in the early 90s, and are now both retired from the military. It's like meeting up with family.
Obviously, I didn't take this pic. One of their other friends used my phone to take this picture.
Special times...I am your get-pushed partner this week. Your challenge is to use symmetry in a composition. I always think vertical or horizontal when I think of symmetry, but I guess there is also radial and reflective. Here's an article to get you started if you'd like: https://expertphotography.com/symmetry-in-photography/
I went through your list of challenges (daunting!) and didn't see this among your previous challenges. I hope you'll find this one interesting. If you'd prefer something else, though, just let me know and I'll set another.
That's great! There is such a connection with other former army buddies, you go through so much together. Glad you had the chance to catch up and it's a super picture.
