Vintage Beauty

My sister asked me to finish a quilt for her mother-in-law. The quilt top was made by her grandmother for her aunt's wedding. Today, I quilted it for her. It's absolutely gorgeous and in very good condition given that it was hand sewn nearly 100 years ago. I still have to put on the binding and repair a few spots where the hand sewn seams have broken.
How beautiful! So good that you could finish it for your sister.

It's the double wedding ring! It's beautful and what a privilege to be able to finish it for her. You must be thrilled with the finished quilt. I also make quilts but haven't done anything as complicated as this! Did you hand or machine quilt?

@busylady Machine quilt. I used the long arm at the quilt shop. I hand-quilted a few when I first started. I don't think my hands can do that any more!
