I think windowless is best. I have a door on the porch and then a door to the inside of the house. The outer door at the top of the steps has small windows so it is almost impossible for people to see into the house and the inner door has a larger window in it that looks out onto the porch and lets in light. I planned it that way for privacy.I am amazed how open to the outside some houses are.
