It rained this afternoon, so we decided not to go to Ft. Bragg since we'd be out in a field in the wet sand. We went to Chapel Hill to a shopping center for their fireworks. We watched from lawn chairs in the back of our truck. Then we continued to set and wait, enjoying the nice evening breeze, waiting on the parking lot to clear out. Took it about 45 minutes before we could leave without waiting in traffic.
@bkbinthecity It's a huge shopping area, full of buildings. I thought it was a strange spot, too. But such is life in the city, I guess. At least I didn't get all wet and sandy at Ft. Bragg.
