Music was my first love, long before photography. So, for the Macro Challenge, I pulled out my old trombone, one of my flutes and put them on my piano. Not sure I like this for a macro shot, but I like the shot, so I'm using it. I liked it best in black and white because the mouth piece and my flute reflected a lot of colors.
@peadar Yes, it's a strange combination. But, I we had 40 flutes in our high school band and more than 40 clarinets, so some of us had to switch to some brass instruments. Me and two of my good friends switched to trombone for marching band (and pep band). I didn't want to play piccolo, although I had to learn to play that a few years later when I hurt my hand. It's fun to learn a new instrument.
